In Brooksville, the Veteran’s Ave. office has the team of Dr. Charles Ross, Dr. Michael King, PA Brent Rentfro and ARNP Reji Augustine, and the office on Cortez. Blvd. is the location for Dr. Jerry Jacobs.

In Homosassa, the family care team is Dr. Angelina Rodriguez and Dr. Anthony Dedea.

A Teaching Practice

Nature Coast Center for Primary Care is a teaching practice with medical doctors completing their family medicine program at Oak Hill Hospital. Oak Hill Hospital has been a teaching hospital since 2014 and currently has residency programs in internal medicine, family medicine and transitional year.

What are the advantages of a teaching practice?

  • Teaching faculty must stay current with changes and improvements in medicine.
  • Should you be admitted to Oak Hill Hospital, a team of doctors will discuss the best treatment for you every day.
  • There is always a doctor in the hospital 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In a teaching practice you will see a family medicine resident and the attending physician during your visit. The resident doctors will care for you and you will see an attending doctor before your visit concludes. The attending doctor is the doctor in charge and is ultimately responsible for your care.
